open source based Messenger which has become more popular in the
recent times. It's simple interface makes it very easier and faster.
It is universal messenger which supports multiple IM protocols

Like most of messengers, Miranda also stores user account details including passwords for

Like most instant messengers,
Miranda also stores the all user account information including
passwords in the profile location. This is to prevent the user from
entering the passwords each time.
Latest version of Miranda
(v0.9.10) stores the user account & password in the profile file at
following location |

User can have multiple profiles specific
to office or home environment and corresponding account information
is stored in the respective profile file.

Miranda uses its own proprietary mechanism to encrypt the password
before storing into the profile file.

| It comes with simple Instaler that helps you to install it locally
on your system for regular usage. It has intuitive setup wizard which guides you through series of steps
in completion of installation. |

MirandaPasswordDecryptor is the very simple tool to use even for home users.
Here are the typical usage steps |
- On running the application, click on 'Start Recovery'
button to begin the password recovery process.
- It will automatically scan and recover the password and display it as shown
in the screenshot below.
- By default passwords are hidden for sensitive reasons. You
can click on 'Show/Hide password' button at the bottom to view/hide
the passwords.
- Finally you can save the complete recovered password list
to HTML file for future usage.
